THE SPEECH: "Are Wines What The Labels Say?"
Jim Seff will review the US wine labeling laws and regulations and a look at what they require winemakers to say which is true, and what they permit which is not.

Summary: Artesa was a beautiful setting for an evening in the vineyards. Guests were serenaded by a violin and keyboard duet upon arrival and Dr. Frank Wilson spoke on "Music and the Brain... and what musicians tell us about Brain and Hand Medicine". Dr. James Campisano was the Dinner Chair and Dr. Ed Carlson was the Wine Chair. An excellent dinner accompanied by Artesa Wines and our 1987 Shafer Cabernet was enjoyed by all.
