Associates will pay the same dues and have the same obligations as Active members. The total number of Associate Members will be limited to 10% of the total membership.
The Society is a nonprofit, educational organization that is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, which is where most of its members live and almost all of its activities take place. We have no chapters or affiliate organizations in other cities.
Membership activities include four educational dinners a year, a Vintage Tour of a selected wine region, a biennial wine tasting, and occasional trips to wine regions of the world. Speakers at the dinners present material concerning current medical research on the topic of wine and health. A Research Award is given periodically in recognition of significant research in the field of wine and health.
The Society welcomes new members. Please read our membership page to learn how to apply. |
